Fatty-acid balance
Including omega-3 levels and the balance between omega-6 and omega-3.
THE HEALTH APPROACH
Food is not an abstract lifestyle choice. It supplies the fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and other compounds your body has to work with every day.
01
THE QUESTION
Most of us would like to know. We would like to know whether the food we eat is supporting our cells, energy, digestion and recovery. We would like to know whether an expensive supplement is doing anything, whether a diet is genuinely helping, or whether we are repeating advice that was never specific to us.
How we feel matters, but it does not tell us everything. Some changes develop quietly. Other symptoms can have several possible causes. That is where a relevant measurement can become useful.
The aim is not to test everything. It is to measure what can answer a real question.
WHAT CAN BE MEASURED
Depending on the person and the question, accessible home tests can add information about several areas that are influenced by food, absorption, lifestyle and recovery.
Including omega-3 levels and the balance between omega-6 and omega-3.
A nutrient marker that can be checked instead of assumed from a dose or season.
Information that can support better questions about digestion and what the body can use.
A view of glucose regulation over time, rather than one meal or one moment.
These are educational decision-support tools. They do not diagnose illness or replace medical care.
02
THE LIMIT
Someone may understand exactly what would support their body and still be unable to do it because they are exhausted, in pain, under financial pressure, caring for others or living in constant stress. Another person may need clinical care, nutritional guidance, trauma-informed support, physiotherapy or help rebuilding everyday habits.
Testing helps us ask a better question. This is where collaboration between different fields becomes important.
