The body's repair environment
How tissue repair may be influenced by the wider body context, including inflammation, recovery capacity, metabolic balance and nutrient availability.
FREE PROFESSIONAL WEBINAR
A test-based nutrition perspective on tissue repair, scars and recovery.
Sunday, 11 October 2026 · Two time zones
Register for the sessionThis educational session is for practitioners and health professionals who work with scars, wounds, injuries, fascia, movement, manual therapy or recovery, and want to understand how measurable body factors may influence the healing process.
This is not a webinar about meal plans, diets or replacing nutritional specialists. It is about recognising when the body may need more than local treatment alone, and how test-based nutritional insight can add useful context around recovery.
We will look at how fatty acid balance, inflammatory patterns, gut health, blood glucose and nutrient status may be connected with tissue repair, scar quality and recovery capacity.
01
WHY THIS MATTERS
Practitioners may do excellent hands-on work, yet some clients still recover more slowly than expected. A scar may remain sensitive, tissue may feel less responsive, inflammation may persist, or the person may struggle to rebuild after surgery, injury or long-term stress.
This does not always mean the local treatment is wrong. Sometimes the body may not have enough internal support for repair. Recovery depends not only on what happens to the tissue from the outside, but also on the condition of the body that is trying to heal.
That is the problem this session will explore. Many people move between treatments, supplements, advice and lifestyle changes without a clear way to understand what their body may actually need. Test-based insight can help make some of the wider recovery context more visible.
02
WHAT WE WILL LOOK AT
An educational overview presented to support professional understanding without diagnosing, treating or curing disease.
How tissue repair may be influenced by the wider body context, including inflammation, recovery capacity, metabolic balance and nutrient availability.
How omega-3 status and the omega-6:3 ratio may relate to inflammatory balance, cell membrane function and the conditions that support recovery.
How gut-related patterns, blood glucose and nutrient status may influence inflammation, energy stability, nutrient availability and the body's ability to repair.
How practitioners can recognise when slow or complicated recovery may need a broader perspective, and when additional test-based or nutritional support may be relevant.
03
WHO THIS IS FOR
This session is open to practitioners and health professionals interested in scars, wound healing, fascia, tissue repair and recovery. It may be especially relevant for physiotherapists, manual therapists, fascia and scar practitioners, movement and rehabilitation professionals, bodyworkers, health coaches, nutrition-minded practitioners and other professionals who want a broader, more connected view of healing.
